By applying internal compressive stress on the component surface through shot peening, the life of the component is significantly improved. The strength of the component is also stabilized and the load specifications improved. Finishing using mass finishing increases contact ratio and can achieve the highest technical specifications using special processes of up to  0.02 µm and Rz = 0.14 µm.
